Day 5: Aix le Bains - Albertville - Courchevel - Aix le Bains
We will make a short lap from Aix les Bains to Alberville. In Alberville, a mandatory briefing for landing in Curchevel will be done. We will also unload the lugage and proceed to the Europe highest airport in Curchevel, a famous alpine and ski resort. Landing there is done at altitude 6850 ft on a sloped runway (16%).
Should this not be possible, there are many more options that might be possible and also attractive:
- take a cable car from Chamonix to l'Aiguille du Midi at 3842 m that offers a view over French, Swiss and Italian Alps.
- or a train to Montenvers glacier, Mer de Glace ...
