CAVOK AirTours was established in 2009 as a new organization focused on organizing guided self-fly tours in Europe. Although the organization is rather new, the people behind it have years of experience in corporate management, tour operations, adventuring, and, of course – flying.
We have all travelled all regions and destinations from our programs by land and by air, so we are intimately familiar with the attractions, beautiful sights and local habits. We have carefully selected the itineraries to offer a unique combination of local flavor, international variety of culture and picturesque beauty of nature, yet are easily flown in a small fleet of general aviation aircraft. Our ambition is to add more tours and more destinations with time, taking advantage of the privilege of flying to places that are commonly not included by big tour operators. With time we hope to become the No. 1 operator of high quality holiday tours for pilots in Europe.

Marko Majer

Marko is owner and general manager of the advertising and marketing agency Mayer McCann serving a number of large clients from Slovenia and abroad. He started flying years ago as a hobby and then to travel to business meetings in the region, earning instrumental and multi-engine ratings along the way. He has flown in most European countries and knows the region quite well. In his earlier life he worked as a tourist guide on various European tours and he fluently speaks most languages of the countries in our 2010 tour portfolio.

Marko has decided to start CAVOK AirTours to bring some fun back into business and to share the wonderful experience of air-touring Europe with overseas visitors.

Robert Reinhardt

Robert is a freelance consultant in the area of management consulting and information technologies. He has been involved in many businesses in the partnership, management or business angel role. Robert holds a PPL(A) with over 400 hours of flying experience. He has personally flown to all destinations of our tours and is very familiar with national regulations within the JAA countries. Being a graduate of mathematics, he is an expert in GPS navigational support. He flies his LSA glass-cockpit airplane out of Divača in the coastal part of Slovenia.

Lang Kidby

Lang can best be described as a world-class adventurer. He knows this planet better than most of us can even dream of. He has rebuilt and flown antique aircraft from Europe to Australia on several occasions, circumnavigated the globe with the smallest car ever made, and led significant expeditions in 40 countries around the globe. Alenka Brežnik

Alenka has been a tour organizer all her life. She has been in the travel industry for over 30 years, developing and organizing tours throughout Europe. She knows every cozy hotel in the region, she can always suggest the best local food and makes sure that we don't miss anything from the must-see list in all our destinations.

On all tours we will have experienced lead pilots and qualified tour directors to help our core team make it a great experience for you.
