Images

As stated in our Copyright Statement, we are taking any copyright seriously. For this reason all material on this website is checked for usage rights. All texts are our own, many images are our own. However to produce good quality printed material, we have had to use some professional images taken in perfect conditions with perfect equipment. We used shutterstock.com as a source of professional quality images. On the web site the source of the image is (hopefully) indicated for images that are not our own when you display any image at its full resolution. We have also used some of the quality images by Slovenian Tourist Organization with permission.

Data

Most of the data on airports and navaids comes from Ourairports.com. David Megginson is doing an excellent job to keep the data in the public domain. In return, we are maintaining the data that is used for our waypoints to keep it accurate and up-to-date. It is obvious that we are displaying all our map data using Google maps. For production of high resolution maps we used data from the Blumarble project at NASA and coastline and national borders data by the US NOAA/National Geophysical Data Center, Marine Geology and Geophysics Division.

Software

Our web server is running on a Ubuntu Linux virtual machine hosted by our friends xenya.si. The Contents Management Software used is Drupal.

Flying and touring experience

Each of us has a long flying history that was made possible with the help of numerous pilot friends through the exchange of ideas, experience and contacts. It is impossible to mention them all, but we do most of the hangar talk at Airport Divača; Airnet, Celje; Solinair, Portorož & Ljubljana; and dr. Nemo, Ljubljana (none of these companies is in any way affiliated with us).
