Our home airport is Portorož (LJPZ), which is located on the Adriatic coast in a very pleasant Mediterranean climate and therefore has an average of more than 330 VFR flyable days in a year. Portorož is an international airport with all the required services and facilities, yet it is a small airport without heavy traffic and no scheduled flights, so it is just the perfect GA airport. The town of Portorož is a major tourist resort with a variety of hotel and restaurant facilities.
Portorož is located in Slovenia. Indeed, the airport itself is on the border with Croatia and it is just few miles away from the Italian border.

Slovenia
